OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
SUMMIT COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY
Since the inception of Skoops, we have made it our mission to give back to the community in every way possible. This means taking care of everyone, even our four legged friends! We have donated .25c for each pup cup sold totaling over $3,500 (>14,000 pup cups) to the Summit County Humane Society and even host a once a year adoption day in our parking lot where they can also collect monetary and food donations.
VFW POST 1066 - BARBERTON
What better way to honor our men and women who have served than with our USA Sundae. We have vowed to donate .25c for each sundae sold to the Barberton VFW.
BARBERTON PUBLIC LIBRARY
We believe in the development of our young adults, therefore we sponsor the Barberton Public Library's reading events with free cone coupons to encourage a sweet future!
MAGIC CRUISER CAR CLUB
Growing up in a families enthusiast about cars, we are proud to sponsor a group that continues that passion. We make a yearly monetary contribution to the Magic Cruiser Car Club for show expenditures or necessary purchases.
BARNETT ORTHODONTICS
Getting braces can be a stressful and painful time so we've partnered with Barnett Orthodontics! Any new patient who receives braces will be able to enjoy a free small cone to help ease the pain!
AKRON PRIDE FESTIVAL
At Skoops we believe in diversity and inclusion that is why we are proud to donate to the Akron Pride Festival. We believe everyone has a right to be treated fairly and with kindness!
Josh & Maria Cribbs
Maria discovered Skoops in 2020 while scrolling through Instagram. She decided to make a trip out to Barberton to see what all the fuss was about and she was pleasantly surprised! Maria and Josh have been regular customers of Skoops and have helped us in growing our customer base. We invited them in and gave them the opportunity to make their own sundaes on their morning show - Cribbs in the CLE! A big thank you to Josh & Maria for supporting our local small business!
